Attend an Event to Benefit Sarah’s…an Oasis

Friday, December 16th from 7-10pm, Rauenhorst Ballroom

What is the Charity Ball?

The Charity Ball is a semi-formal social event for members of the St. Kate’s community held to raise money for Sarah’s…an Oasis. Sarah’s, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph, fosters the self-empowerment of immigrant and refugee women in transition through life skill development, referral and advocacy services. Over the years the Charity Ball has helped to raise over $25,000 for Sarah’s. This year we are excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sarah’s as well.

How can you show your support? 

Silent Auction Donations – We invite St. Kate’s community members to donate themed gift baskets, gift cards or services to be part of the silent auction and Charity Ball gift card tree. Silent auction donations can be delivered to the Student Center and Activities office, CdC 270 through Monday, December 12 at 5pm.

Participate in the tradition! The evening’s festivities include amazing cover music via an amazing DJ, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, an interactive photo booth sponsored by Mobile Memories, a gift card tree, Dollars for Dares and most importantly, a silent auction of gift baskets. Charity Ball is planned and organized by the SEEK (Social Events and Experiences for Katies) Team. 

Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for family, guests, faculty and staff. All proceeds will be donated to Sarah’s.

Participate in the auction 

The silent auction will begin on Tuesday, December 13 at 9am in the Student Center and Activities Office, 2nd floor, CdC. Then we invite you to join us on Friday, December 16 at 9pm when we close the silent auction and reveal how much money has been raised for Sarah’s…and Oasis for Women.
