On campus housing is still available for fall semester. Students can choose from a variety of options in our apartments, suites, and traditional double and single rooms. It’s not too late to sign up, and with winter just around the corner, you can rest easy that your student doesn’t have to travel in severe weather to get to class.

Students living on campus enjoy the convenience of paying an all-inclusive fee that covers housing, utilities, internet access, and laundry. They can meet with faculty or visit offices like the O’Neill Learning Center, Butler Fitness Center, and the Library, without finding time between classes or needing to drive back to campus.

St. Catherine offers living spaces that provide comfortable and supportive communities that encourage learning outside of the classroom. Last year, residence life staff provided over 875 free, social and educational programs to students living on campus. From trips to sporting events and movie nights to community service projects, your student can build friendships that last a lifetime. Additionally, resident students have the opportunity to network with faculty. Last year, over 65 faculty members led or participated in residence hall events providing opportunities for students to engage with faculty outside of the classroom.

In recent surveys, students indicated that living on campus contributed to their personal and academic growth. Specifically, they said it helped to:

  • Strengthen their independence and adjustment to college
  • Manage time and priorities
  • Promote a study environment and form study groups
  • Build relationships

There are so many benefits to living on campus, and we know for some of our students living at home is a great way to cut costs.  However, if you wish to explore this option, your student may qualify for financial aid that would help cover on campus housing expenses.
